This error accours when you have revemu installed and try to update to the new version :colbert:
Okay, I didn't get the error this time. And when I started up Gmod I didn't see the "Create Multiplayer" option so I think it's up. How do I set the name of the server in my bat file that I use to start the server?
@echo off cd c:\srcds/orangebox echo Starting game server. echo Beginning "Garry's Mod" srcds.exe -console -game garrysmod +map RP_Downtown_V2 +maxplayers 24 +sv_gamemode darkrp echo "Garry's Mod" has now started. echo It is recommended that you start Server Crash Recovery aswell.
It said it started again, and now the window is named my host name, but I still can't find my server, even after adding the IP to my favorites. IP is 63.234.149.90:27011 and it also said 63.234.149.83:27011.
why do you have it on port 27011? put that sucker on 27015
it does that by default for some reason, mine is set to 27015 and it still ports to 27015 and 27011 in tandem
why do you have it on port 27011? put that sucker on 27015
Will that make the server appear in the list? And how do I change it?
Will that make the server appear in the list? And how do I change it?
Easy. 1) Go Start Then Run And Type CMD 2) Type ipconfig /all 3) Then Find, "IPv4 Address......***.**.*.** 4) Copy That IP Adress And Then Type It On Your Web Searcher. 5) Then You Should Be Brought To Your Internet Home Page. 6) IDK Which Internet Company You Have So Your On Your Own Now...
your server may not show up in your game internet list but rather your LAN list
-snip-
I forwarded the ports it said it used, and now it only starts in LAN mode. I don't understand why.
if you only forwarded the ports that were in tuto , and your using port 20711 , then you arnt redirecting that one , i forward all port 27000 to 27020 to my comp , works fab
