• Stop downloads?

Is there a command to stop a current download? Sometimes I'll start downloading something and it will kind of get "stuck". The problem is that while it's stuck like that I can't download anything else, and my screen has a little ring of files moving around the bottom. Not cool.
Yeah, I need this. I was looking through Toybox and I clicked the wrong thing to download. Unluckily for me, the download was huge.
You ever tried to "cancel" out of a single player game? It's worked for me all of once... I agree with you that a cancel option would be nice when DLing a map, have had the same problem myself (flat out locked my system). I just don't think Gmod (or maybe it's HL2?) is wired that way, to make backing out work "reliably" would probably be quite the task for a programmer (yes, programmers, that's a challenge, ;^)
He won't program it in, just like he won't program in an "Add to Spawn Menu" button that downloads it permanently to your hard drive so you can use the stuff offline.
This ways a problem i had when i accidentally clicked subscribe to all on Gmod tower then i read the things you need -->Counter Strike Source and TF2 mounted<-- and i don't have this so i was freaking out about having to download 50 things for no reason >:(, but then i found out a trick that worked! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW TO STOP GMOD FROM DOWNLOADING ADDONS YOU DONT WANT!!!! #1: Close Gmod that is downloading crap you don't want. #2: Go on Steam, then go to the top left corner of it and click Steam. #3: Select Go Offline then when it asks you to restart steam click yes. #4: Now that Steam is in offline mode open Gmod. #5: Let it load stuff just like it would. #6: Close gmod. #7: Go back to the top left corner of Steam and click Steam. #8: Restart Steam then launch Gmod. Your Gmod should now stop downloading the stuff you don't want.

Thank you because, I was downloading addons, and I clicked subscribe all to a collection that had 656 addons and when I clicked unsubscribe all it didn't stop downloading it.
