I r just suggestion a nice little addon. I am not aware of anything that is like this on gmod.org, or on FP, just thought it would be cool:
Every time you join someones server, your player model is automatically uploaded to the server. Both the server and the client would have to have the addon, naturally, but it would be nice if your model r automatically uploaded to the server. I know a lot of the people that come through my server would love to have custom models for their player, but it doesn't really let them do it because they have to be uploaded to the server manually. Every time someone joined the server it would have to be restarted to take effect.

Yes, because you really want everyone to wait 5 minutes and get everything deleted everytime someone joins.
Also, this would have new chances for griefing, like making your model have a ridicilously big file size.

No.
Besides, certain gamemodes enforce having a specific model for a reason.
