Help How do i go online???

turn of the router fire wall if u have wire less
or open the ports needed for gmod

tho if u dont have wireless test go in to program/steam/config and remove the master server.vdf and serverbrowser.vdf those shoud work (they repair when u remove them so they will pop back when u restart steam)
but if u still cant test this

its many servers and itl move u to the server directly yust choose server and press the green button and gmod will start and join thath server:D

And when i click on the green arrow to join the server it says it is not responding

On your firewall or router exceptions list, add port 27005.

Er, I don't think you need to bother with UDP or TCP, are you in port forwarding section? What router are you using? And listen to FlapJack's advice.

I believe that UDP is used for querying the master servers. Would be easier adding exceptions for both.

keep the windows firewall and turn off the router fire wall worked for me
