who wants adv dupe scripts to be in toybox so we can spawn stuff through toybox?
It's already horrible to have that Adv Dups spam in Garrysmod.org, ToyBox is full of useful and nice little scripts / models, no need to ruin it.

Two major problems:
First, advanced dupe is not an officially supported Gmod addon. If it was part of Garry's Mod, there would be more of a possibility, but it's not.
Second, there are too many issues with this, primarily with compatibility. Everything on the Cloud can currently stand on its own or requires officially mounted content. Having dupes that require other user-created addons would simply be a mess.

We already have a shitload of adv.dupes files on garrysmod.org and most of them are just reupload (drunk combine by MoPaZ is a valid example), adding them to ToyBox would be worse than ever, yet someone could make an entity like a "Advance Duplicator Loader", people just grab the code for it and sticks his dupe code and then he uploads it

If it worked where there was a special subcategory that the gamers voted for approval to be included in the normal stuff. i'd say about 5-10 votes, voting yes increases, no decreases. the user can view how many yes/no votes there were, etc. etc. and this would easily help people find the GOOD stuff. Since it wouldn't download the files unless you choose it, you can easily keep tons and tons of shit, maybe monthly cleanups where anything over a week old that has no yes votes would be deleted. Just my two cents.

Forgot to add at the end, if it has no or 10 or less downloads, it would be excused also, unless reported for some reason.

Why are people so vehemently against this just because of the possibility that not all dupes might be great?
I don't hear people bitching about all the "super admin gun" and "bouncy ball with swapped model" cloudscripts. And come on, It's not like they'd be mixed in with the entities/weapons and cause the good ones to be pushed off the page.
As for what Skyhawk said about compatibility, just don't allow scripts with content from addons, or set it up like the current entities/weapons system where dupes with content that the player doesn't have will be marked and unspawnable.

It would be very difficult to tell whether or not the player has the content, especially because dupes don't just work with mounted content. In the current system, the script uploader defines what other games are required and Garry can easily check if that's mounted. With dupes, you'd have to parse through the dupe for every model that's used, since they can include third party models, and then check that against all the models the player has. It'd be messy.

If there was a Adv. Dupe section, it would become thousands of useless things, most of which would be phallic shaped objects.
Also Adv. Dupe is owned by wiremod.com. Knowing the wiremod team, they problably want money to put their stuff in cloudscripts
Keep the dupes on Garrysmod.org.

Don't spam the Cloud.
I think that it should have an addons section. So I can download wiremod (which includes Adv Dupe.) and most of the other popular addons. But yeah, I have to say, all these crappy adv. dupe files are annoying as hell, maybe garry could just pick and choose a few cool ones and make a small section for it, but that's as far as it goes.
With how unstable my connection is? No way! I rather not be wondering how soon I'm going to crash whenever I use that tool.
