Hi! There's something wrong with my Garry's Mod DirectX. I don't know if it's just Valve just f-ing up, or what. When I try to launch it, it ends up saying that my DirectX is out of date, and yes, I've checked, I have the latest version of DirectX, but Steam thinks I have DirectX 8 for some reason. All other games work with it, and I thought it was odd that DirectX didn't install DirectX while being installed. Also, downloading the link they linked me to, it used to say there was no need to update it cause I had the latest version. While trying to fix this problem, my friend deleted a few files I had, so now the download tells me there was a system error, and to refer to logs in one of my folders. The folder, isn't actually there. I've searched all of the threads possible, so don't try to link me to them. My Steam username is UnicornLaughs if you want to message me through there. Right click Garry's Mod on your library, then go to properties > set launch options
Then type this:
"-dxlevel 90"

What version of DirectX does Steam think you have?
