Code stealer - Garry's Mod - Facepunch Forum

I am author of Starship Troopers SNPC's workshop addon and eh.. some "thing" stole (entire) lua code from my addon. That thief have name Piratecatty here his profile : [url]http://steamcommunity.com/id/piratecatty[/url] and his 2 addons: [url]http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=144566644&tscn=1373008903[/url] and [url]http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=132665184[/url] where is copied entire lua text from my STB addon (from May update), he's copied entire word, also he still deleting my comments in "his" addon (not only mine, lots of peapole post comments on his **** ) to keep this secret off his hand instead of admiting it. here' a proof: this is my newest version of base code from STB : [url]http://pastebin.com/vreaWqVZ[/url] this is "his" code: [url]http://pastebin.com/4CzeSLzP[/url] I know u cant help me, i already reported it in workshop but still nothings happens I just want to let people know what is really happening.

Nothing anyone can do to help you as you probably have guessed. It is unfortunate that the report feature seems so pants because there is a lot more "problematic content" other than this.

Get more people to report the addons, also give link to your Starship Troopers addon here, the more people report it the faster it will get down.

iirc garry can manually delete things off the workshop, so there might be a small chance that this thread helps.

I hated this Pirate Cat's garrysmod 12 addons for a while now I have reason to hate him more.

Heh, Piratecatty added me around 3 days ago asking offering "animation work" in return for admin and linked me his workshop work. I said no and he then removed me. Reported the addons too. :wink:

You should have linked him to this thread, then taken a screen shot of the chat and share his reaction with us. But yeah, reported and rated down, no one should have their work stolen

Piratecatty has not stolen any code from predator cz, and has been told so. Predator and his friends have been false reporting and spamming him workshop items.
