Whenever I try and play Garry's Mod 10 I get the error "HL2.exe has stopped working". This only occurs when the main loading screen is up and says loading on it (doesn't make it to part where "Find Server", "Create Server", etc. pops up). I only get this error for Garry's Mod. I can run TF2, CS:S and HL2 without a hitch. If someone can help me I will love them forever.
Tried reinstalling gmod yet? It's probably your best bet.
I just installed it like 5 minutes before making this thread, will try that.
I have had the same problem. I have reinstalled it but it made no difference.
Reinstalled, I still get the same problem.
Windows 7 eliminates these problems, I'm not sure if a proper fix exists for XP.
I'm on Vista currently, probably doesn't help. Luckily, my teacher is a pirate so I could borrow his W7 CD and try that out.
Banned for Warez? Anyway.... probably that new TF2 Update.. causing alot of problems lately.
