New to Garry's Mod. Need some help.

Hey guys. I just got Garry's Mod and I know how to install addons and stuff. But I really don't know what to do in the game. Can you explain what you do?

and I also have a few questions.

1. What is Wiremod?
2. What is PHX?
3. What do you do in GMod?
4. What do people mainly use GMod for?

Please answer my questions guys.

1. Wiremod is about making complex contraptions using logic and mathematical components, as well as pieces that interact with the . You can create anything from a wired light to a giant mecha.

2. PHX is a building pack of basic shapes.

3. Build, wire, pose, have fun in general.

4. You can't really say generally. It was originally made for messing around, but its become so much more.
