Bioservers - Is that any good? - Garry's Mod

I've been looking a host for my server for a while, and looked one with lowest price for the start. So I want a 20 slotted server to run Underdone gamemode. I found this hosting company named Bioserver sfrom Garry's Mod Wiki. It seemed to be the cheapest one and the servers are located in Lodon which is pretty good. Does anyone here have a server rented from Bioservers and can tell if its good or not.

I would go with bioservers over UKGame any day, and I believe there aren't many other UK hosts right now.. could be wrong TBH. Good luck.

A friend of mine owns bioservers so obviously i'm going to tell you to go with them. But seriously, I have had nothing but good experiences with them. They are a great host.

Personally when I used them the server was ok and the customer service was great. But I found UKgame more appealing since they are only slightly more expensive but you get free web hosting and the SVN system is much easier than asking the owner to install them every time. EDIT: Also the fast download system provided by UKGame saves alot of time.

I use ukGame, wasn't expecting it to be good, but it is fantastic.

I currently have an Experiment server up with Bioservers, no problems, almost instant replies on support tickets and they don't steal your gamemodes ^.^

I use Bioservers, server isn't laggy and when the owner gets a new box he can move your server onto it for even less lag.

Bioservers is very good, one of my favourite roleplay communities is using it for its servers, there was hardly any lag.

The main reason I was asking if Bioservers is any good, was that it was cheap. As I counted, 12€ a month for 20 slotted server isn't that much and I can easily afford for that. I'm not looking for any host that offers 1€/slot making 20 slotted server cost 20€ a month. I mean 20€ is still acceptable price but I'm looking for something a bit lower priced. Less money I am willing to put into it, of course it can be more bad than others those cost a lot. So far most of the replies have been saying that Bioservers are good, so I think as soon as I can get 12€ into my Paypal I'll purchase a server from Bioservers. If its bad, it'll be waste of 12€, but atleast then I've seen that its bad. Even though I think its good because of all these positive replies, and those few negative replies, doesn't change my mind about purchasing server from Bioservers.

Hi guys, I don't get on here enough. Thanks for all the positive recommendations! Also, Vorion, could you please explain why your experience with BioServers was bad? Perhaps it is something we can improve on.

I am currently with BioServers, they'er happy to help BUT in the past two weeks we have been experiencing loads of lag issues. We're assured they will be fixed soon though. Also their website has gone down along with our server twice now in the past few weeks. I want to play now for example, but can't. Other than that I am happy. Pings are great and gameplay is smooth until the massive lag spikes that shall soon be fixed. We're playing TTT on it BTW, nothing intensive.

I'm kinda just trying to get the guy who runs Bioservers to reply. He's been very non-responsive lately my co-owners tell me.

And you think by bumping this thread he might notice?
