Which hosts do you think are the worst? Which do you think are the best? Why?
My vote for worst goes to ByaServers.
-6 hours of downtime in 3 days
-No FastDL when listed as a feature on their site
-Terrible support, completely misses the point of my question every time.

Free if you quality, yes.
I had a linux VPS through 123systems for a month, was decent for about 20 days but then it became horribly laggy.
Sent in multiple tickets to request a transfer to another box and never even got a reply.
Worst?: Relayed Servers
Best: NFOservers ( So far )

NFO have great support and usually answer my tickets in less than 5 minutes. They have a built in websync (fast dl) and it's fully automatic. They also give you a free webserver with almost unlimited bandwidth.
Worst: ewe host

Ewehost doesn't exist anymore but they (he) were definitely the worst GSP to date, so the worst at the moment would probably be the one with that retarded kid advertising in Garry's office. Forgot the name of it.
The only GSP I'd have to recommend would be NFO.

Worst: Xenon, horrible support, horrible quality servers, too expensive for the horrible package.
Best: BB Servers, affordable, fast, good, nice, yummy, hasty support.

when you provide a service you are generally not allowed to state the quality of the service as you are not its intended customer and you have only gain from it.
Daemon Servers is the one I'm currently using and in my opinion one of the best.

I have a service with Furious-Servers and I've also tested a few other services which work well. I'm also not providing the service(s), I'm just a support technician.
