Ok , I'm getting really fed up with all of this wrong installation terms I like to download most of my gmod files off of [url]www.garrysmod.org[/url] and [url]http://halflife2.filefront.com/files/Half-Life_2/Garry%27s_Mod;11197[/url] but all of the notepads for installment are just fucking annoying it looks something like this:
Credits : blah blah blah
Installation : well u shuld alredy no :P:P:P:P:P:P

That is what really pisses me off, now i know most new people to the garrysmod community are always being premature dickheads but surely we could give them some credit, I can remember installing my first swep or pack of entities and reading the above, and some people who have been here long (not saying anyone particular) may not know how to install lua they could have just used addons the whole time.
I think we need to give the guys who do this a slap in the face and make them give some serious instructions not just lol do it yourself.

Atleast I'm actually trying to stop them just not letting them do it all the more so people can get more pissed.
It isn't hard to find installation instructions on the internet. I see where you are coming from but you need to be more grateful. The people who make whatever you are trying to install are not being payed for it, they are being kind enough to give you something that they took time to make. It's not a nice way to say thanks by creating a thread bitching about their readme's.
It's a bitch, becasue I noticed not everything i installed go in the same place, sometimes maps go in maps, sometimes they go in the garrys mod folder. Sometimes this swep gose in addons sometimes it gose somewhere stupid.
Should be a rule to put instalation instructions in all of the files. Even if they just note it in the description of the addon

This isn't really true, most people who make a great mod actually put instructions in other then some 4 npc pack that are cool but there isn't any instructions , the person above me can see where I'm coming from .
