Two, remove AVG and let Avast or MSE take it's place.
Or remove AVG first.

Just spent a couple of minutes cleaning out my desktop. I tell ya, making addons in Gmod does things to ya.
Just disabled AVG for 5 minutes. Magically Steam can sign in, Gmod launches, and physics start working again. Normally I never have an issues with it (AVG) sooo... Yeah.
Well shit. This just turned to a support thread didn't it? Well anyway dont worry about it, I'll probably just have to slap the shit out of AVG a few times till it comes sober.

I ended up having to drop down to full command line and slowly remove all of Unity's direct dependencies before just straight nuking the package files where they lived.

Between cleaning out my GMOD folder, Making addons, Using GCFScape, and a plethora of other things, it isn't really that hard.
