Atomic Roleplay, Apocalyptic DarkRP theme - Garry's Mod

AtomicRP is an Apocalyptic themed DarkRP, with pretty chill admins and a supportive player base. We run a custom made DarkRP edit, along with alot of functions added onto the gamemode to make it more...I don't know better I guess. Features: - We have Cars scattered around the map, for people to find like in a real apocalypse situation. - Random Spawning Mutants (Zombies) that are scattered all over the map. - Vehicles are made so you can have passengers in them. - Admins and Traders giving out various Missions so that you can earn some type of money to get that gun you always wanted. (We are developing an NPC that keeps track of the quests it gives out to you, adn the things you do to it) - Custom Classes (Not really a big thing now-a-days since all servers do. But hey, atleast they arent stupid Minge classes) We have had this game mode running on Various servers since last Summer, but we really got back into it trying to actually make the game mode funner instead of doing that stupid serious RP. But that doesn't mean we aren't serious RP friendly. Features are being added to the game mode (Literally) daily and we try our hardest to satisfy the players and not get sand in their vagina. Exellent server, any minges that come on get messed around with so they rage quit instead of us doing anything. I usually play as a trader since battles happen alot.

"Playing" with minges instead of doing the right thing and trying to teach them or just banning them. That is turning me away right there, instantly. It gives everyone looking at it the impression "Wow, these guys have a really bad administration team that are probably a bunch of children". I'm just saying that's the impression you give everyone, not saying you are. Anyway, another tip is to make your thread be a little more.. neat and flashy. Use tags. Anyway, good luck with the server.

Thanks, and we arent minge friendly, we just dont like Ultra serious RP. This is just pretty much better than those regular DarkRP servers with RDM everywhere all the time, just visit it at day time and you will see right away.

yeah unless you really piss off an admin in a short period of time you would be warned first then kicked then banned for 15 etc and it escalates

Roflwaffle, its not permanent. We are going to have that until tommorow. We need to make it so that it cant like grab map entities, and like so that it would only grab stuff 20 feet away. I think you can deal with it for a day.

The pictures were just to show a nice (actiony) feel to the advertisement, its mostly like that, but you arent really bothered if you dont have a gun. And most people dont use it how you think. Other things I wont get into because I dont even know what you are talking about...so yea dude, I don't get why people show such hostlity. Also, just because I don't have a flashy and really long server advert doesn't mean I should. Its about getting to the point, and not boring the readers and making them leave halfway through, I showed a little sneek peek of the experience, and said some things about the server. This isnt a damn book about one server. Know that Adverts are short.

I think it sounds pretty good, even it's DarkRP. But with good admins, DarkRP is really good so i'm not going to start saying that DarkRP is bad.

I liked Serious RP alot, but I liked DarkRP even more. The reason is that Half Life 2 set dramas really piss me the fuck off, and it got annoying after a while of stupid waits for /me stuff and everybody always had something emotional to say and I didnt like that. So I went back to DarkRP. I personally like Serious RP...but not big amounts of it.

Half Life 2 Role Play has lots of drama, try Trp or E2rp

You like DarkRP because it's not RP at all, it's basically a enhanced deathmatch script. You'd get the same results from a gamemode with Classes, Currency and weapons along with a shopmenu..
