Hello i need help i tried many things to get rid of this error (ERROR: GAMEMODE:'HUDPaint' Failed: Sandbox\gamemode\cl_worldtips.lua:27: attempt to index field 'ent' (a number value)
. i tried reinstal Gmod Redownloaded SVN wire uppdated it every thing now i am out of idea's ... So i need help to fix this becus its really iritateing and as fast i watch on wire stuff i get spammed of this.. please help.
Open cl_worldtips.lua, and delete this bit:
if ( tip.ent && tip.ent != NULL ) then
tip.pos = tip.ent:GetPos()
end
LOl now when i did that i cant start steam
Uh, it has nothing to do with Steam though :S
Odd Becus my Client Dont Start att all now i get Steamstartup() Failed: SteamStartup(0xf,0x0012E5BC) failed whit error 1 : failed to take master pipe connection lock
Restart steam.
Also, make sure you don't have the puddle jumper addon.
Whaaa Why not puddle jumper addon!? :S!!
Puddle Jumper addon is what is causing this error if you have it.
