I am having an issue with source recorder when it comes to it picking up catmull cameras and post processing effects like DOF. I put in:
sv_cheats 1
host_framerate 30
startmovie filename avi
playdemo filename
and it just shows me in first person sitting there even though i had the catmull cameras running when i recorded the demo.
Any help would be appreciated!
If I'm correct, which is rare mind you, Source Recorder only records what you see through first person.

Correct.
I have tried in the past to record with Source Recorder from various angles, and every time, it would record from my original perspective.
I would suggest you use another recorder, such as [url=http://fraps.com/]Fraps[/url], or [url=http://www.wegame.com/]WeGame[/url], to record different viewpoints.
