I'm having problems setting myself as owner of my server with assmod. I type in console
rcon_password (password)
rcon ass_setownership (number before my name in status)
But I keep getting this error: Unable to connect to remote server (local ip:port)
Can anybody help me fix this?
This usually isn't needed unless you are not on the server at the time.
But if you enter
[CODE]rcon_address IP:PORT[/CODE]
into the console, it should force a connection to the server's rcon protocol
I'd just recommend using [url=http://www.hlsw.org/]HLSW[/url], makes everything a lot easier and more manageable.
Too bad it's never updated these days, atleast it still works.
