• Broadbandspeed for hosting. What's needed?

Hi, i'm thinking of hosting a garrysmodserver from home. This is because i have a box that is on 24/7 and because it gives me alot of flexibility(i can add dll-files, without needed to contact support, and i can integrate mysql-databases, etc. ). The server is going to run a few websites(with only a few visitors), and a garrysmodserver with a custom rp-script(where you can't spawn props yourself). I'm gonna upgrade my connection to a 10 mbit download, 1mbit upload. But what is actually needed to run a server?
get a better Upload.. like 3mb
yep, its upload speed that counts. 1MB is good coz I have 0.4mb and that can run 12 slots well, so 1MB is good

So, 1mb wouldn't be enough to host a server? Would i need to upgrade to 2, or 3mb?
