my server wont restart due to a popup? - Garry's Mod

i have a question when my server crashes a popup comes up about an engine error, the only problem is my server wont restart untill i press ok on the popup which alot of the time i amn't there to do so my server wont restart. is there anyway to remove the popups so my server will be able to restart?

What error do you get?

Usually it's a model precache error if it's an engine error. If not, it's a windows popup error. Best way to combat it is to use a tool like [url="http://highguy.dumbclan.com/ServerChecker.msi"]Server Checker[/url]

If you are running Windows, right click on My Computer, click the advanced tab, then click the error reporting button. There's an option to disable error reporting. This prevents most crash pop-ups, and speeds up crashes as Windows will no longer run the debugger to send info to MS.

You can add programs not to report errors to. I just picked hl2.exe.

[editline]02:06PM[/editline] I'd say the least useful of those are Smart Weld and weight tool. Never found a use for those myself (Except for weight in sledbuild :3)

You shouldn't host a server on the computer you're playing on.
