Pre-P.S. I think the problem has a bit more to do with the Downloader (SVN) rather than the Downloaded (Phx3) so this is in Help and Support
I downloaded the Phx3 SVN for the third time, finally getting it to work by not putting it in the “addons” folder, but the “garrysmod/garrysmod” folder and clicking on the “Yes to All” button when asked to overwrite. I believe that about 2 seconds later, I noticed that my settings folder had a red circle with a ! in it. I went in the folder and the “spawnlist” folder the symbol was there again. There, I realized that the spawnlists were not downloaded. I updated all of the Phx SVN folders and it restored the lost spawnlists. When I went on to add the “Military Models” addon to the addon folder, the spawnlists were gone again. This continued for a while, during which I upgraded Tortoise to 1.5.0.
That is all the information I can think of at the moment. If you need info that I have forgotten, just ask and I will respond as soon as I can.

And, also, yes the game is perfectly fine. If fact, i can still find the props if I look hard enough in the "Browse" tab of the Q menu. The fact is that this gets annoying when whenever I switch servers my PHX spawnlists are gone.
For one thing, you never put addons in your garrysmod folder because it makes it extremely difficult to remove the addon later, and often it doesn't work anyway.
I just checked out the entire SVN yesterday, and it worked fine. It takes a long time (> 125 MB) but it will eventually download everything. The reason it wasn't working under your addons folder is because the svn didn't grab info.txt.

What exactly do you mean by "grab" the info.txt?
And, if you know, could you try to fix this svn problem?
EDIT: You know what? I think you may have something there. I'm going to back up my addons (with the exception of phx3) and clean gmod tonight. Then, I'll put phx3 into addons instead of garrysmod/garrysmod. Maybe the problem was that it wasn't in the right directory. Thanks for the idea, XC
P.S Was that what you were getting at, or did I figure that out myself?
EDIT 2: Ok, the address thing seemed to have worked. Thanks again, XC
I meant download...and there seems to be no problem with it from what I see. If you open mods.ini from the auto SVN updater, you can find the SVN link to paste into your svn client to check out the folder.
I can't even find the Phx3 SVN.
Someone want to help?
Hi
PHX3's SVN address is: https://phoenix-storms.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/phoenix-storms/
You don't need any username or password.
I Cant Get My Phx 3 Materials And Wheel Models To Work... Whats Going On?
how can i download the thing from SVN?
Here's a quick tutorial I wrote. It might suck but here it is:
http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showpost.php?p=12518420&postcount=5
if you have toggled show hidden files and folders...
PHX3/models/XQM/.svn/text-base (.svn is hidden) there are .svn-base files... I cant remove them
PLZ HELP MEEEEE!!!! Cant clean up gmod then because adv dup has stopped to work
This is how ot looks:
"fel" 0x80070570: The file or catalog is either damaged or cant be read
fel is on swedish
I didn't read the other posts, so I don't know if you fixed it or not, but I'm pretty sure that the SVN version of PHX3 has the actual mod files inside the root.
i found a way to download the SVN's without a client!!!
copy this code into a .txt file, and make it into a .bat file,
put it into your addons folder, and click it!
@echo off
:: This creates the various folders required.
:: If they already exist it just throws an 'Existing folder' type error
echo ---Checking Required Folders
mkdir "phoenix-pack"
:: Move to the right folder to use the SVN client
cd svn
:: This checks out the various parts of wiremod to their respective folders
echo ---SVN Download Starting
:: phoenix-pack
echo ---Downloading phoenix-pack
subversion checkout "https://phoenix-storms.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/phoenix-storms" "../phoenix-pack" --username anonsvn --password anonsvn
echo ---phoenix-pack Download Complete
Fear not, I have come to the rescue.
If you go to the readme in the phx svn download, you will find this:
Simple fix, right click on any one of the icons and re-render, all icons.
Do this to all of the problematic tabs
