Hello everyone. Me and some SF buds have begun working on a project, a brand new-spanking roleplay server. We seem to have gotten this really awesome unique idea, which I will explain below. Currently we are in the process of finishing our forums (Free forums at the moment, will be an independent site in time) and beginning work on our script and map. Our estimated time until completion is set for two weeks from now, when our server will be purchased.
Three-Worlds, is exactly what it sounds like. The roleplay is based on three completely individual worlds that are connected to each other via portal technology accidentally created by the first (And most advanced) World colony. Since we will have only one server to start with, we will only use world one, until world two and three are discovered ICly. We have already established the storyline, but we will only unfold it ICly as roleplay progresses.
World one is an underwater society, much like Atlantis. It is a small fallen city underwater, kept dry by a pressurized dome. The rest you can read up on the forum :)

Certainly isn't a bad idea, if you've got the resources.

In two weeks time we will recieve funding for a server, a custom map, and a custom script based off of Cake. Hey Soviet and Weeve,
DesertiaRP had an idea like this with simultaneous worlds being RPed on at the same time with their new planet, Areta. It didn't last long due to server troubles, but just a suggestion:
I suggest that once you have one server with at least 15 people in it should you consider expanding into the other world. Splitting with anything less will cause everyone to pile onto one (usually the newer) server, because everyone's there and the other is completely devoid of people. Only when you think you can have an adequate population to spread over two servers is when you should actually get the two servers.
Anyways, best of luck on that.
Our idea is once we have a LOT of people, we will activate the event that opens up the second world. We will only have the first world until the new roleplay is established. We want our players to feel comfortable with this and we don't want to rush anyone. Also, we want both servers(Eventually all three) to have the same amount of players.
I suggest you get some decent webspace. Things like forummotion are good if you wanna muck around. But you cant actually add any more to it. I suggest 000webhosting
yes, please ignore the free forums for now. We are upgrading soon to an independant webspace, everything is happening in about a week so. Yeah.

I check out the TO DO list... It looks really nice and well thought out but it seems like it will require a lot of work. In a way... that's a good thing. Wish you guys best of luck and hope you guys become really successful with this. I also hope you guys don't abandon it. It's a really neat idea and I would hate for this to die out. Just 2 quick questions:
1. How much of the map have you finished?
2. Are you guys just working on the map or are you working on a few things at the same time? If so what are you working on?
This sounds exactly like spacerp.
We had a mapper working on editing a map for us, but he recently was overloaded with things to do so we are now searching for a new mapper.
Also, how is an underwater society anything like Space RP, how does this have anything to do with Space at all. It's three worlds... you dont travel through space to get to them- I've revealed too much!

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been too active, going to try to get this post going again to get people interested. Well we've found a map that we can edit to look like the map we want, we're working on it now and we hope to have the server going soon. Not sure how soon, but yeah.
1. HL2RP? No.
2. FalloutRP? No.
3. StalkerRP? No.
4. Real Life RP? No.
5. SST RP? No.
