Gmod blinks then goes away.

Ok so i was playing Gmod the other day and i quit out to go eat some dinner. I come back and i press on gmod it loads then flicks the gmod screen then goes away. I think hm maybe i just need to repair it, so i repair steam and it still doesnt work. I tried restarting my computer, reinstalling steam all together, and reinstalling gmod singly.

Is there any solution to this?

And btw my drivers and all my hardware is up to date and fits the gmod requirments.

Do you have xfire or anything like that?

Have you restarted you PC just in-case something happen?

Uhm I dont know what xfire is. and ive already restarted my pc in trying to fix it. no luck
