So, here's my problem. I needed to re-install Garrysmod for one reason or another, and reinstalled with the base screen resolution of 1920x1080. Unfortunately, my moniter has a maximum resolution of 1440x900, and i cannot find a way to pan across the screen at that resolution. It pans at most others though. I do not own any type of display that supports 1920x1080 resolution. I have also attempted to reinstall Garrysmod. Any solution would be very helpful.
I have 1440X900 too. I don't have dual monitors thou.
Its a single monitor, but Catalyst allows for resolutions out of natural range, and i can pan across the screen.
Run in window? Change res of gmod?
Right-click Gmod in games list, the properties, then set launch options. Type in "-width 1440 -height 900" without quotes. This will set Gmod to the same resolution as your monitor is. Then you can do with it what you want.
Thank you CoolCorky, but I regret to tell you that I repaired Gmod before you informed me. I had forgotten to inquire steam support. I used the command -autoconfig :D
