Hey guys me again, I ran into some trouble shooting the 3d anaglyph machinima I talked about last time. My problem was that I couldn't get the two catmul roms of any given waypoint to face the EXACT same way the the exact same angle. If you know anything about anaglyph 3d, you understand that any disparity in the placement of each camera tends to screw things up a little. So here is what I'm looking for: a tool that can take the orientation, angle, and x,y,z placement of one object and apply it to another. So for example if I had an object at 4353,12423,5643 and rotated at 23,21,45 degrees, I would want that information applied to another object, minus a few units on whatever plane I was working on. So... do you know of any tools that do this? Do you think I would get a quick response if I posted this as a request in the LUA subsection?
Percision alignment does that perfectly. You could also do it with E2. There are probably more. Whichever you prefer.
What exactly is E2? Sorry, been a while since I've really used tools in gmod could you link me to either one?
E2 is a scriptable chip from Wire. If you update your/get Wire svn, it'll give you links on SP.
Alright, so what is this Precision alignment tool? I know next to nothing about wiremod.
