server not working properly (a non BS thread please.) - Garry's Mod

Greetings, I've hosted a handful of servers on multiple computers successfully so this is getting fairly frustrating...(Not listen servers) Currently my friends can join the server no problem if they use my external ip to connect. The problem lies in the fact that no one except a few random strangers can see it in the internet list and it gets rather boring with just a hand full of people able to join. :P Any conceivable port that I have noted down from numerous forums have been opened. I have even tried DMZ (even though i know steam based games aren't exactly friendly to it.) I'm currently using Avast free edition which is the only difference from my old setups, although i have already tried running the server with it's protections turned off. My router's a Encore ENHWI-N2 I am also using Windows 7(64x) and checked exceptions firewall wise and have tried turning them off. If there's anything left to try, the knowledge would be greatly appreciated. otherwise don't waste your time responding.

what ports have you opened? Is Sv_lan set to 0 ? Tried typeing heartbeat into console? Is your server con-fig file correct? Is your fire-wall off? Is scrds.exe or hl2.exe allowed tho firewall? Turn off the anti-virus all the way?

I do have sv_lan set to 0 here are all the ports forwarded specifically for gmod: gmod 1 Any 27015/27015 gmod 2 Any 27005/27005 gmod 3 Any 1200/1200 gmod 4 Any 27000/27000 gmod 5 Any 27020/27020 gmod 6 Any 27030/27039 gmod 7 Any 27011/27011 gmod 8 Any 27012/27012 (yes i know lats alot of ports and yes, i have gotten the server to work with one but i'm getting fairly desperate for a solution so do not comment on this unless you have more ports to add :D) Here's a copy of my server.cfg standard stuff that i all ways put down. // Server name hostname "Vato's Darkrp" rcon_password "******" // Gamemode and Sandbox Cvars "sv_defaultgamemode" "" "sbox_maxprops" "20" "sbox_maxragdolls" "0" "sbox_maxballoons" "0" "sbox_maxeffects" "0" "sbox_maxdynamite" "0" "sbox_maxlamps" "2" "sbox_maxthrusters" "0" "sbox_maxwheels" "0" "sbox_maxnpcs" "0" "sbox_godmode" "0" "sbox_plpldamage" "1" "sbox_noclip" "0" "sbox_maxhoverballs" "0" "sbox_maxwire_thrusters" "0" "sbox_maxvehicles" "0" "sbox_maxbuttons" "10" "sv_noclipaccelerate" "5" "sv_alltalk" "1" "sv_lan" "0" "net_maxfilesize" "30" (rcon is put in asterisks to hide the real one) I have tried cutting avast off and turning off any and all firewalls. and yes both srcds and hl2 are allowed.

It is done. also i have already double checked my ip to make sure it didn't change. and yes my router has "any" to umbrella tcp/udp seems like that array (27005-27015) did the trick. I'll note that down so i don't forget xD thank you.
