Is it true that you can get banned from steam for "being an ass" on garry'smod.org?

Both of you are dumb, how would this even be possible? VAC triggers when you have a custom .dll or .exe in your game folder, not when you shitpost.

Besides, Facepunch isn't a community ran by Valve, and Valve doesn't even ban your steam account when you shitpost on SPUF.

Your STEAM account will be banned from [I]Gmod.org[/I], not from playing. If your STEAM account is banned from there,you will not be able to log in to post , upload or download.

Your steam account will not get disabled and you will not get VAC'd. The only thing that happens is that you lose the right to access garrysmod.org properly.

exactly, it just simply will not allow you to download anything from garrysmod.org. The only way to fix it would be to get a new steam account and buy gmod again :)

Wait, what? The comments system is that Disqus thing. How will that affect your steam account? Does Garry have access to user's IP addresses which lets him see which steam accounts and disqus accounts log on using the same IP?

The best option is to avoid garrysmod.org completely unless someone links you there via steam, youtube or facepunch.

Honestly, its like diving into shit mine to find a gem. You might get lucky or otherwise you'll find another shitty posed TF2 background.

You log in with your steam account to garrysmod.org, and your Disqus is linked to your steam account on garrysmod.org.
