I thought of something recently that would be really helpful in Garry's Mod. An In-Game notepad that could be brought up in the Spawn Menu or be binded to a key to be shown. It would help with writing down helpful notes such as a console code for an addon, or say you are building something with Wire and want to right down the numbers for a chip or something. You could type it in the GMod Notepad. The features would be typing, saving, and opening saved notes. Then one feature that would be nice is the ability to make a note while not in GMod, then save the text file in the GMod Notepad addon. I'm not a LUA scripter so I wouldn't really know if this is possible, but it would be really helpful and not waste paper. I like the name 'GMod Notepad' for it, but if you are a coder and thinks this is possible, feel free to leave a reply.
I'm not sure what icon fits this best, but 'request' seems OK, doesn't it?
Edit:
@whosdr Someone suggested a Luapad and I could just type notes in there, but I'll try yours too.
Start> All Programs> Accesories> Notepad

Yes, icon seems fine.
I just wanted to remind you that there is a windowed option for playing Garry's Mod, which allows you to switch windows instantly.

Yes, but some people prefer to have it on full-screen; although I'm not one of those people, I have Windows7, which makes it so you can't move & hide the minimising bar at the top of the screen (Which means that your missing a good chunk off the bottom of your HUD).
-Even though you can do this on Vista... (It seems to be the only backward thing about Windows7 atm) , I kind of prefer it in full screen anyway strangely.. Although, I do miss the ability to go into my notes for when I'm administrating.
So this would be the perfect add-on for the situation I'm in,

I know it's already been suggested, and it's not exactly what you were looking for, but luapad could be used for this purpose.
