This gamemode is about traveling around in space and gathering resources for new upgrades, better armor and system, and much much more. You can also do PVP with your friends or do jobs for npcs. The better ship you have the better your ship operates in space. Your role in space is basicly fly around and find nice new hull and armor upgrades for your ship. earning money is the first step! There are 3 ways you can act as a good pilot:

Be a very political chatting pilot and socialise with your friends around in space and peacefully mine in areas where people cannot hurt you.
-[b]Number 2:[/b]
A neutral pilot flying around and mine without any friends. In other words: Nomad.
-[b]Number 3:[/b]
Aggressive way and fighting players for goods and treasures!
The gamemode is a Space RPG and have high detailed materials. You are a small space traveler, who wants to become a captain of a bigger ship. But in order to do that you must get money. The easiest way to get money is through mining. Mining on rarer asteroids in certain AF (Asteroid Fields) can result in a jackpot! But mostly contain dangerous NPCs who tries to steal and rob you. Watch for them, they can come out of nowhere. The other way of earning money is through doing Jobs or quests for other NPCs that you meet in space. They can come wandering around the solar system and if you see one, i suggest talking to them before they disappear. An alternative way is to kill players and gather stuff from their wrecks. they contain about 50 - 70% of their goods. But you cannot kill within Peace Areas. There are friendly NPCs mostly around cities or around common asteroid fields. They attack anyone who do not obey the laws which i will explain longer down. NPCs can also fight each other, meaning that the Pirates and the friendly guards will acturly attack and try to kill each other! They have powerfull ships so i suggest not intending to join the fights. NPC pirates can have capital ships luring around the space. they usally lure far away from the sun, Don't try to find them unless you know what your doing. Quests or jobs can lead you to these kind of things. also the jobs can be an Escort quest or a convoy where NPCs can appear randomly and attack you. these NPCs are based apon the jobs Level.

Answer:This is a Space RPG Gamemode with the ability to gather much bigger ships and lots of interactive items you can play with including Player Owned Stations.
It is not possible to walk around inside them unless Hammer enables us to make much bigger maps!
Q:Can you walk around you ship and stations and other places?
A:No read above answer.
Q:Can you make it so u can walk around the ship?
A:Only when Source SDK allows bigger map building. i cannot scale the players Collision model. Therefor making the model to small and the player wont fit in it.
Q: Can you exit your ship and walk on planets surface?
A: No. Source SDK doesnt let me make maps big enough to do that!
Q: Can you be 2 players in one ship?
A: No
Q:Is the sunlight something you coded?
A:Yes
Q:Ive heard of people being annoyed by your reputation. What is your opinion to that?
A:Well, the gamemode is surely one of the most incredible and stable gamemode of gmod that I know of.
Sass on the other hand, is crashing me repeatly but ofc I'm not gunna brag about it.
Q:Where do i download?
A: No where! the gamemode is handled on a single server to maintain all account data on one place!
however there will be a client download for the gamemode so you dont have to spend an hour on downloading it from my server.
Q:Is there any servers on with this?
A:Only the test server which is restricted to most people!
Q:When will this gamemode be released on your public servers?
A:Prop a few months. Perhabs there will be a public release soon!
Q:Will there be more than 1 map in The Sunrise?
A:NO, everything is handled by one map!
Note: Because of the massive amount of people asking these questions above EVEN if i told them to read them will be [b] BANABLE FROM SERVER [/b]. I don't allow such stupidity on my server or my community!

I never played Eve but what i see, doesn´t convince me very much....
i think eve is just a (high graphic) copy of freelancer :)

This is kwl. I've got questions:
1., Can you create a pact or alliance with other players and teams? That would be so COOL! You'd be heading for an RTS like Civilization that way, in where you build up an empire and work together to advance.
2., How is the ship selection going to be played out? When you buy new parts and armor, will it just be added somewhere on the ship, or can you put it on yourself? As this being a Gmod game mode, that shouldn't be too hard. And, you really should have basic color control, because nobody likes being stuck with a dull gray slab to play it with. Decorations and such should be considered.
3., Will there be user account-type things, where you can save progress, alliances, enemies, and general progress and ship info? Then you'll REALLY be pushing toward an RTS, or at least a very in-depth experience.
Finally, 4., Is the play area all on a 2D plane? Or can you tilt your ship up, and explore 3 dimensions?

1: Yes there is a team system under construction! u can see on the pictures and in the movie on the left side of my screen about the clans i made. it shows "Clan Names"
2: Its going to be in a short menu where u can place objects in. also weapons bay and armor bay where you can use your armor and weapons and upgrade them to a whole new thing!
3: The game auto saves your account. the Login screen is there to stabilize your Ping. What it practically does is it waits for answer from server to client. when the client got message the progress bar speeds up and when its done it means its stable and you can continue playing :)
4: No its all 3 dimension gamemode with a super high Detailed graphic and HQ textures.
this looks fucking awesome, a lot better than all the usual roleplay shit here.
keep it up and don't abandon this gamemode

If i release this gamemode everyones accounts will be spread over to certain servers.. there will be hundreds of servers with this gamemode and u can barely find the server you have ur account on. therefor i plan making it on a single server and even tho ur ping is high u NEVER LAGG! :)

Good boy. People are more inclined to play if they can strive to be the best out of 100s of players on one server rather than the best out of 20 players on a random server.
