• Save in lua?

I have windows 7 and to edit lua I use wordpad. Whenever I save it doesn't save in the proper lua form. What is a text editor that I can save lua files in? Doesn't have to be fancy it could be just like notepad. I just need something I can save as a lua.
Notepad++ Someone on facepunch made a plugin specifically for GMod lua even though normal lua is almost the same.
Thanks! First post. That was lucky.
You can save a lua file simply by changing its name from ".txt" to ".lua".
Yea but whenever I did that it wouldn't show up in the weapons list. (Might post this weapon on garrysmod.org)
Wordpad is a rich text program. It uses formatting to change font sizes and such, so it will not work. Use notepad.

Yea but Notepad++ works and it saves in lua so it saves me the trouble (And code comes up blue)
