I have windows 7 and to edit lua I use wordpad. Whenever I save it doesn't save in the proper lua form. What is a text editor that I can save lua files in? Doesn't have to be fancy it could be just like notepad.
I just need something I can save as a lua.

Someone on facepunch made a plugin specifically for GMod lua even though normal lua is almost the same.

You can save a lua file simply by changing its name from ".txt" to ".lua".
Yea but whenever I did that it wouldn't show up in the weapons list. (Might post this weapon on garrysmod.org)
Wordpad is a rich text program. It uses formatting to change font sizes and such, so it will not work.
Use notepad.

You may have to go into control panel then folder options and untick "hide extensions for known file types"
Yea but Notepad++ works and it saves in lua so it saves me the trouble (And code comes up blue)
