I followed this tutorial, I want to make a game mode in gmod, kind of like I think it's called roleplay where it's like you can shop around and do stuff. So anyone help me with codes in the lua and stuff? Like say people do missions and stuff... You travel to a place and become a gangster. And you get the weapon "fists", and like knives eventually, like fruit knives are weaker, I can edit those lua's themselves, but I just want something basic. Though I have wondered if I could make a server that doesn't lag with like 20 people.

Congrats on making your own gamemode!
Might help if you posted some pictures though :)
Download some existing gamemodes, like CakeScript, or LightRP (Don't use DarkRP, it's shitly coded shit!), or TacoScript (very difficult to read for a beginner). Also you can find very good tutorials about gamemode coding in the Lua section of Gmod.com Wiki, and even on YouTube!
I'm not sure, because I'm not a coder, but just edit some things and see what happens. Base it off so you know it will function, but experiment. Fool around, you may stumble upon something amazing.
