Well guys, for the past week I've worried about some odd viruses, and other unsafe software. It became worse a couple days ago. I found a picture of it, he has the same exact error [I'm guessing.] http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/9557/033yrj.jpg [WARNING HUGE PICTURE] But, it use to ONLY happen when I play games such as C:SS, GMod, and BFBC2 w/ DirectX 9. It even crashes on 80, So I HAVE to use DirectX 81. Now it's worse, and even crashes on Direct X 81. And, a couple days later, I started randomly losing control of my mouse, and regaining it [it didn't move while I lose control, but I KNOW it's not get unconnected.] **fixed this ^** Now, I started it up Dec 6th, and it's doing the same error before I even get to the login screen at the startup. And, on Dec 6th @ ~8:20 P.M. EST a wordpad randomly came up, and said "You have been hacked" **I just found out my brother did this... dbag huh? ^** My System Specs: OS: Windows 7 Ultimate Video Card/Graphics Card: GTX 280 Processors: 2 Quadcore Processors [Both Intel Xeon E5420 @ 2.5 GHz, 2943 MHz] Total Physical Memory: 3.97 Available Physical Memory: 1.83 Total Virtual Memory: 7.95 Available Virtual Memory: 5.92 GB ___ I am in Serious need of all help! Please, if you know anything... help me. And honestly, no trolls, I beg you.
Have you ran a virus scan? Have you installed any software recently? Have you visited any dodgy websites? Check your startup programs (Start > Run > Msconfig > startup ) try googling the programs name before disabling it. Is your graphics card overheating? (use a prgram like "Speccy")
welp, looks yummy. try getting a Malware Scan done by Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
By the time I'd have gotten the "you have been hacked" message, I would have backed up all my documents, made a list of my current programs, wiped the drives, sprinkled some holy water on my router and DSL modem, and start from the top with Avira, ZoneAlarm, and my common sense at my guard. I've only had to do this once, mainly because my sister can't keep her grubby hands off my personal setup.
Someone's got a RAT on you. F8 on startup, safe mode with networking, malwarebytes, scan. If it persists, repeat except with Spybot S&D. If it still happens, the best option is a reformat.
Also if your computer isn't a family computer, I suggest using a password and locking your computer whenever you plan to leave your computer for more than 5 minutes.
If the screen does that when you're playing games, your graphics card is probobly fried and as for the virus open cmd prompt and type "netstat" in it (don't have internet explorer up) find the IP address that looks suspicious and attack it
