Can someone tell me how to make wired hoverballs go up and down using the pageup and pagedown keys? I'm trying to make a hovercraft with wiremod but I seriously don't know how to get the hoverballs working. Google gives tutorials about only basic prop shit where a guy makes a 4-10 minutes long video about sticking simple hoverballs to a platform prop.
I think you accidentelly opened this in General Discussion and not in Help and Support. Maybe a mod wants to move this for you, look better next time. :)
I would recommand using a Pod controller (and link it to a chair).
1. Wire the Wire Hoverball "HoverMode" to pod controller "Active".
2. Put a Gate Subtract and wire A to pod controller W and B to pod controller S.
3. Wire Hoverball "ZVelocity" to the Gate Subtract.
You can't use page up and down with pod controller so for that you will need a Dual input with value 1 on "1" and value off "0" and value 2 on "-1"
I did the hoverball thing using Add and Negate and use Shift and Space for down and up. And for the right forum... My first thread was opened in help and support but got moved to general discussion, so I thought that all wiremod related problemd need to be put here.
