In the beta SVN, I tested sv_loadingurl just fine but specifying it when I launched, and then connecting to my local server. However, on my live server, I now put:
sv_loadingurl "http://sammyservers.com/loading/loading2.php"
into my server.cfg but when connecting to it, I do not see that page. I see the default gmod page, followed by the page going white, and then returning to the default page.
Anyone got any ideas?
Did you reload the map after setting it?
Do you only see it when you are download? because i didn't see anything on a server.
same issue here, custom loading url doesn't work, it shows the default page :/

It's a webkit browser.
Not just 'HTML'
Well, an update to this. That page works perfectly fine after the server map changes once, but on first load, it does not.
