Hello all,
Since steam doesn't update my gmod, I want to use the SVN. I downloaded the SVN to My Documents and then overwrited all files to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\username\garrysmod\garrysmod
It still gives the error, is the SVN also broken? Or did I do something wrong?

put it in sourcemods?
i put it /garrysmod/
It said somewhere in another thread about putting it in sourcemods folder or something. I'm gonna try that
it wont really mater because the mod will still use the same engine
Yes but I think the SVN version is fixed or something
How to use the SVN
1) go to steamapps/sourcemods
2) make new folder called "garrysmod"
3) SVN checkout to that folder
4) restart steam
5) launch the gmod in your library that does NOT have the gmod background thingy
If you overwrote the main garrysmod, that will be highly troubling
