Hey I have had garrys mod for a fair while now and i love the game, but im not to experienced when it comes to coding and fixing errors and i am having a problem with my tools. It seems that gradually as i have added more and more addons, less of my tools have been working correctly, they work most of the time in multilayer however when i use them in single player i get a variety of error messages coming up telling me something is up. I have ignored this most of teh time as i have had no idea what to do, and they still sometimes worked, just not as they should, but today i drew the line. I was posing a cool diorama for TF2 and then i pulled out my good old face poser, and load and behold it stopped working and i got this message: ...emodes\sandbox\entities\weapons\gmod_tool\shared.lua:150: attempt to call method 'GetInfo' (a nil value) ...emodes\base\entities\weapons\weapon_base\sh_anim.lua:71: attempt to call method 'IsNPC' (a nil value) addons\wire\lua\wire\client\toolscreen.lua:23: attempt to call upvalue '_ViewModelDrawn' (a nil value) If you can help me please do, because i love this game, but it just keeps on getting less and less stable making it harder for me to get back into it. P.S. This error occurred just after installing new addons, and also previously i have not installed addons by placing them in the addons folder, i have instead directly copied and pasted the files into their respective garrysmod/garrysmod... folders, this may be part of the problem. I also have SHITLOADS of addons Thanks for helping me if you can
Addons are the problem then...............Some just fail
Do a cleanup of your addons, I would personally re-install Gmod.
Meh, i just guess i will have to, i have kept a copy of all of the addods ive installed previously in a separate folder, so it will be easy to reinstall,, its just a matter of download limit so i will wait until the end of the month Thanks guys anyway!
Download limit? Where are you from?
