I think that Gmod should be metascored, after all, it is one of the most popular games in the Steam Store. Personally, I believe Gmod should get maybe a 98 or just a bit lower, but the reason I give it a 98 is because of the massive glitchiness. But that's bearable to me, what do you think?
95 or less
It's not entirely a game, so no.
Not a game but a mod.
Its not a game, its a mod. Its really hard to metascore this, as the whole mod flips itself once you go online, and install wire. The whole mod mostly depends on online servers

Metacritic requires a certain number of reviews before it assigns a score. Garry's mod only have two.
Thats the problem with MEtascore, different people could have different experience, all of which couldn't be rated. Even if you want to say quality and quantity of the work in the game, you can only factually rate half the game. So I'd have to say GMod, while i love it like a nephew, is a 46(46*2=92)
You do realize that by asking this on a forum dedicated to Garry's Mod, you're almost certainly going to get a very high result?
People that would "test" GMod would just start it up then say wut the shit this fails. Exacly like everyone else that does not know what type of stuff GMod can get added.

Most of them have been high, but the 60's and 70 votes aren't to high, and the 0-9 votes I am certain are sarcastic.
Garry's Mod is basically an engine, I wouldn't really call it a game since it's pretty boring without third party support.
In fact, it's nearly nothing without third party support. 2 maps, 1 gamemode, couple of guns, and the spawn menu. The cool part is just how much you can expand it.
AS an after thought. It would get infinitly more complex with the mods you can add to Gmod.
So the only real way to review it for anything fully would be sans mods. Which would be pretty.. pathetic? compared to with mods of course.
100 or less
80-89 (85)
80-89 because if its issues. If it were more stable then 95.

I'd say an 86-87, it's a rather unstable game and it'd be nice if it could use multi core CPUs or GPU physics acceleration (preferably through OpenCL).
100 , if you want you can play counter strke , if you want tf2 , if you want sourcewars , ETC
It can't easily be Metascored i mean, what are they going to look at? Garry's original intention for Gmod? Sandbox? Or are they going to look across a wide range of games and game modes? Because Garry only made it a sandbox game designed to build, other LUA programmers made their game modes.
It would be difficult to Metascore this since they have to think there are no addons, no wire, no PHX nothing only what Gmod first comes with when you start it up.
I would say 80-89. If it wasn't for it's terrible stability and trash community (wire elitists, plenty of roleplayers, people who make LUA viruses, etc.) I'd give it a 90-100.
