I need a good host (cheap) - Garry's Mod

I'm looking for a cheap, good host. I am able to pay $33 a month and I want around 48 slots. I am going to be making a DarkRP server and I need it to also be able to handle addons. I use NFOHosting already with my TTT server but that's $24 a month. $1/slot. Any help is appreciated.

Try ElpisHost, it's cheaper per slot the more players you pay for.

I would say go for Elpis Host. Definitely the best Garry's Mod host out there, by far. Although, I'm still a "do it myself" kind of guy, so I would recommend you to get a linux VPS instead. It opens so much more possibilities. You can host whatever you want on it pretty much. Game Servers, website, teamspeak, databases etc. For $30 / month, you can get a pretty high-end VPS. Just don't overload it! :yarr:

RevoltServers, or UltimateGameHost . Both are pretty low key, but great host nonetheless.

NFO is by far the best

I've had some bad times with ElpisHost. Not saying that you will, they are a great host but I recommend NFOServers. They have fast support, servers are always up, fast control panel and they host in a ton of locations.

UltimateGameHost has a good reputation, but the domain for RevoltServers was registered less than a week ago and is probably a company he's highly biased towards especially since it's listed as his website on his profile. He also has spammed similar threads with pretty much the same response, something that he has a history of doing with KissNode too. I guess he makes other posts so he doesn't get banned again for spam, but it seriously seems that every time I see him post he's trying to peddle his wares.

Fact of the matter is, each and every host I've recommended are still on the market and very much alive today. KissNode, UltimeGameHost, and RevoltServers, are all doing well. Yes, RevoltServers is new, so I would take mild hesitation before going with them. They seem to be great though. Yes, I tend to change my homepage URL quite often. Last week it was KissNode, now it's Revolt. Will probably be UGH next.
