Every time I start Gmod I get the message: hl2.exe Has stopped working
The same goes for CS:S and HL2:DM, but not for HL:S, HL:S:DM and DOD:S.
Does anyone know a way to fix this?-

Hit Properties.
Hit Advanced.
Type -dxlevel 8 into the box.
Play Garry's Mod.

usually i restart steam and im fine but since u keep getting this problem i dont really know what to say =/ wish i could be more help
You're using a dell laptop. I am not suprised this has happened irregardless if it worked before or not. Laptops were NOT designed for gaming.

How do I "un"dxlevel 8?
