DarkRP Custom classes?

I used this classmaker [url]http://darkrp.megagamer.net/kit/index.php?i=classmaker[/url] and went through everything, now where do i put the code? I know ive heard somewhere to put it on the end of last line of shared.lua in the darkrp folder, but when i did that last time i loaded my dedi server and all classes were gone! This is the class i wanted to make for myself...can anyone tell me if ive done anything wrong or give me a link to a thread that explains what to do?
