I'm having a problem, every time I try to play in a green screen room for videos I try to spawn a prop and the game crashes completely...what should i try differently, or does it have to do with my computer specs, or what?
What has the green screen got to do with Gmod?
its a green screen map lol, just solid green everywhere.
Ah, right. Thought you meant chroma key. Sorry. Perhaps there's a Lua error associated with the map. Try validating the map file.
Yes, the map is for chroma keying, its called gm_chromakey, but I thought it was more commonly known as a green screen room/map or whatever, my bad. either way, its solid green room and it keeps crashing whenever I try to spawn a prop, I can walk around in it as long as I like but then it crashes if i do anything.
Go on gm_construct, go to the solid white room and use color tool to change color, remember the values. Film. Chomakey that. Shitpots these days need a adoon/map to do shit that you can do on sandbox vanilla.
I need a bigger room though.

oh. Alright. You use the material tool and select an entirely white texture, named debugwhite, then apply that on some flat props, and then use colour tool to make them green. Made a short tutorial :eng101:
That works! thanks a lot, you were a lot more help than the now banned rimlanin....haha that kid got owned...but thanks! I'm getting a new computer, maybe the new graphics card would help with the green room (i think the problem was that because it would give me an error about some type of memory or something) :)

Alright :v: you never know. It could be Vram, but if you're buying a new computer there's not much point.
