Greetings Everyone,
This issue started today; I can't open any of the menu's when I'm in-game such as PERP; Dark RP and so forth.
I try to open up the F4 Menu on DARK RP; It won't open. I type " bind f4" in console and it comes up with it's binded to the correct " gm_showspare2 " along with many other things on other gamemodes. I simply can't open up the menu's.
My garrymod's binds are working such as voice and things like that; it seems to be more gamemode related. I've tried doing a clean re-install and so forth, it doesn't seem to be working.
Help anyone?
You just typed "Bind f4"? Gmod is not magic.

I know how to bind... I was simply checking if it was binded to the right command.
Yes, if you type "bind <key here>" it tells you what it is binded to or that it is not binded to anything. Anyway, do unbind <key here> then bind it again to what ever it was before. Hope that helps!
None of my F1 - F12 Buttons work while I'm in Garrysmod....
Try executing the menu command manually.
I have; that works.
But when I press the button that's supposed to execute that command; it doesn't work.

Are you using a laptop? Sometimes the function keys have alternative uses.
You could always bind the commands to other keys that work.
Desktop.
I could do that; but I play on multiple game modes. So I don't know the manual PERP2 Commands and so forth.
I re-binded the F1 - F4 Commands to different keys...
Now they work.
