I recently bought a new pc due to my old one being outdated, all games I have played run fine but when i play garrysmod, singeplayer and multiplayer the display on my screen will disappear, I hear a loud continous beating sound and then either the game crashes or my display goes altogheter, in which case i have to turn off my pc and use start-up repair to get it running again.Any suggestions?
PC Specs:
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel i7 quad core @ 2.8ghz
12 gigs of RAM
2x 1gb ATI HD 5770
If I am missing something let me know
(It is an alienware pc if that helps at all)

Also try re-installing the game
