Runtime Errors when joining a server; Dodgy server

Since this last update (downloaded about 29 Jun 18:00 British time), when I try to join a server, I get this window while it's loading. I guess it's pretty bad. I might just reinstall everything if the next "patch" doesn't fix my problem....

Also, my server can't go into Internet mode any more - can only do LAN now... and doesn't even connect to VAC. I can connect, but then the crash mentioned above happens.

Everyone has to remember when Garry releasing an update to fix a natural game bug he causes several man made issues like this.

There's nothing you can do about this except not play online.

Also why do you need the search function? There's about 4 threads with this that are easy to find and 7 others that are slightly harder.

...I thought that this was the final update I just downloaded - because I waited about a day for the Steam servers not to be "busy".

edit: On first glance, I don't see any runtime errors - just crashing errors and Class C errors - so maybe this helps a little in debugging. :/ oh well.

mine auto updated when i exited gmod and i got the gameinfo.txt was missing

I don't use hacks :O as far as I know.

Also, this problem also occurs in single player mode. Should I reinstall (or just obtain a new renderx dll), or wait for the next few patches?
Vipergothot's post implies only one person works on gmod o_O quite impressed, there.

ok, I'm not sure if this is related to the update any more - 2 of my steam friends' gmods work now - and mine still gives this C++ runtime error.

Any ideas anyone? :(

edit: Just asked a friend for that file.. garrysmod\lua\includes\modules\gmcl_renderx.dll mentioned in the big scary error window..... and he says he doesn't have it o_o lolwut?
