[B][Roleplay][/B] I hate when people state that all of the RP Communities issues are created solely by the players. No one looks at stuff like monetary systems, the great emphasis on crime, bias rules/administration, or just the violent environment to answer why shit is going wrong.
[B][Roleplay][/B] I hate how most people will judge DarkRP as a horrible gamemode, while in a small setting with the right people it can actually be quite enjoyable.
[B][Social][/B] I also hate how younger members are extremely immature. I have been playing GMod since 5th Grade (currently in 11th) and over that time I have seen many changes in the community, but one that I have yet to see is a rise in maturity of players. I guess it is a phase we all go through, because I will be honest I was a minge too when I was younger... I think we all have been one at least once in our lives.
as a server owner/administrator I can say that I am thoroughly sick and tired of users logging onto my server and building vehicular contraptions consisting of a jeep and a thruster and proceeding to drive this piece of crap throughout the entirety of their visit. For god sake be more creative!

I have a list of them, here we go.
[Social] I hate when moderators/admins don't follow their own rules but will permaban when another user is even on the fringe of violating one.
[Roleplaying] I hate how most communities involve people being too awkward to actually do any roleplaying.
[Roleplaying] I hate that people with bad grammar and spelling while roleplaying expect people to take them seriously.
[Building] I hate when Admins complain about unoriginal contraptions even when they make unoriginal contraptions themselves.
[Building] I hate when people use blastdoors, without changing them at all, even their material, as walls. Bonus anger if they also use a blastdoor for their door aswell as their walls.
[Social] I hate when people complain that I don't own a microphone, even though it doesn't affect these people in any way. It's not like reading my responses is hurting them in any way.

I hate DarkRP because if you have to scrounge through several pages just to find one good server it's not even worth looking. Especially since the fun is usually short lived.

I have to agree with you, up until a couple months ago I didn't give DarkRP a decent try and just deemed it as sacrilegious, but after finding a good server I've realized it can be fun. I still have my issues, but it's definitely not as bad as people often make it out to be.

It's not about how long you've spent with a community, it's the effort you put into it.

[Roleplay] I dislike the amount of fail DarkRP servers there are on this game. You will only find 1 or 2 good role-playing servers in the midst of hundreds.
Question. What is a "good" RP server by all of your standards?
I wanna make a Gmod server, and if I make one, why not one all of you like so you don't have to go find one.

Active admins who will act against minges, rewarding players for contributing to the roleplay aspect, and most importantly an interesting and fun community.

[Roleplay] When people argue that rolling is a bad combat system no matter how you utilize it. I could explain, but the only statement I'll get is "LOL U LIEK ROLING LOL U FAG XD".
[Roleplay] The sheer amount of idiots who default to playing generic HL2 RP because they're so closed minded and can't be bothered to try something different.
[Roleplay] So there's a thing called Severance, which is zombie roleplay. There was this community a while back that instead of having their hostname have "Zombie Roleplay" or "Severance" or whatever, they put THE WALKING DEAD RP (hurr durr). People joined this server like no fucking other. Before this community, other servers would have "Zombie Roleplay" or something similar in the hostname. I guess what I'm trying to say is idiots joined this server because "OMG I KNO WAT THE WALKING DEAD IS OMG THIS SERVER MUST BE GOOD YES YES YES".
[TTT] Idiots that join and kill people because "were kul trolz from /b/ lol umad?".
[Social] The people who think they can code Lua when they can't.
[Social] Server owners that say they're going to do something but never do it. I've seen this quite a fucking bit. They tell people about this great addition to the server and how it'll be done in a week. Then a week later you go to ask the owner about it and he's like, "Oh, I totally forgot about that. I'll finish that at the end of this week!". Then a week later he's like, "Yeah, I lost interest". I dunno. Maybe I just play on the wrong servers.
I'll probably think of some others later lol.

He means there should be literally none of that in roleplay. It just wouldn't fucking work. There has to be rules. Without them, your server is just something to take advantage of. Without guardrails, roleplay becomes incredibly stupid. For example, if I started a gang of gay man-eating nazi clowns, and killed everyone that wasn't a gay man eating nazi clown, people would join them. Then, you've got other people creating shitty factions that make no sense. It's what happens when there's no restrictions.
It's exactly like having no government. It just wouldn't fucking work.

Why doesn't anyone make a new combat system. ACF only tends to tanks, GCombat is showing wear/tear, everyone hates woodwars, and PewPew is shit.

Let me rephrase that: ACF Engines only cater for tanks. Any aircraft using ACF type mobility will get knocked out of the sky because it usually can only have weights of 0.1

And ACF doesn't have bombs, rockets, or anything which could be useful. It's either you make your aircraft accomdate a 203mmC or you won't be useful.
