I tried to join my OWN server which i made using SteamCMD and i got this message in the game and console when i looked: Dropped Refined_ from server (Server uses different class tables). I believe i need to update my server, how exactly do i do that?

You update the server exactly as you create one.
Check to see if your client is on a branch other than the default, just in case, by doing the following
Library -> Right click Garrys Mod -> Click Properties -> Click Betas tab -> should be set to "NONE - Opt out of all beta programs"
If you are not in any betas then go to properties as the above but this time click the Local Files tab and click "verify integrity of game cache" to make sure all files needed are in the correct folder.
