• Spaceship desintigrates when it enters space

I made a spaceship. It works pretty well, except when you go into space, it starts to spaz pretty badly, and then the entire spaceship disappears. Advanced Duplicator file is here. I've been using SB gooniverse. Both launching from ground and spawning in space cause this problem (I thought it might be some problem where the gravity is noncontinuous when the spaceship is halfway through the atmosphere, but I'm almost positive that's not it now.) If you're feeling kindhearted and want to test it, here's how you operate it: Door can be opened with password 1992, or from pressing the button on the inside. To pilot it, get into the pod. W/S controls pitch, A/D controls yaw. Space is to go forward. Roll is constrained to 0 (as well as possible). It will freak out if you try to pitch up past 80 degrees or so, and will start spinning rapidly if you try to yaw past +/-180 degrees. If it starts acting dumb, you can make a new one, or get in the pod and hit r, which will reset it do default config. Thanks!
You must construct additional pylons. (Thanks Neo. xD)
Sometimes this happens when you use hydraulics (especially wire ones!) and then try to enter/leave space. It could also happen when you have too many welds.
You must construct additional pylons.
Fixed that for you.
I actually thought that constructing more pylons would help (that's what the gray things are). Not much luck with that, however. It happens even when i don't go through the planet/space barrier (spawn it in space). What do you mean by too many welds? I've welded every piece to every other, some more than once, but I thought that should make it stronger.
That's not always the best way to weld. The best way to weld is usually to weld everything to a heavy, central prop, but your mileage may vary. I noticed a "gmod_wire_hydraulic" in the dupe file. That is probably what is causing it. Wire hydraulics are known to fail when travelling between space and a planet.
Just killed the hydraulic, and you were right: it's ok now. That leaves the question of how to make a door for a spaceship: Winches are even worse.
Winch, thruster and weld latch?
Thrusters, a weld latch, and a bit of programming have yielded a functional door with no spazzing! Thanks much, Kabuto!
