ive changed the .vtf file and it does not work! what am i doing wrong?
I replaced the old VTF file and put the new one in
garrysmod>garrysmod>materials>console
then replaced the old "background.vtf"... what am i doing wrong?
You're supposed to call it background01.vtf.
I'm not sure, but I think the above guy is correct.
Also, people instead of rating him dumb, help him out... He doesn't know, but he'll learn if you show him.

Fucking agreed, just cause he's new to this sorta shit doesn't mean you have to be a dick about it.
Take the .vtf files, make sure they are named the same as the ones already in the UI Folder and your done.
