So, we at SSTRP are in development of a newer and original script that will make this one outdated. This one is based off of TacoScript. I'm the most recent of the long line of former developers, and hope that Facepunch can benefit from it. I've already given out the original to one community, and think that you guys will provide some healthy alternatives to the stagnant amount of SST servers.

Bah, I don't understand much of this SQL stuff, guess I probably shouldn't be messing with it. Still, this certainly seems, 'interesting,' to say the least. SSTRP was fun when people weren't being one-man-armies who thought they were Duke Nukem for no reason.

No, I doubt it, you can't really control AI without going through the server...I don't think anyway.
But, I'd like to study this, make a version that doesn't need SQL...anyway of modifying the SQL entries to send to data instead of a web server? I'd love to turn this into a script the server I'm admin for can use :). Appreciate any tips you could possibly give, PM me mate.

How to Setup

I did not have a good time in sstrp, nobody tells you how to fucking get armour or a weapon even when you are defenseless during a mission.

If you know how Tacoscript works, it's a flag system. An admin has to clear you for a flag (say, the standard trooper with only the Morita and nothing else), and from there you just type in the flag command (/mi, for the said standard trooper), and viola.
Then again, even I started out defenseless on the server because the admin onboard at the time focused more on arachnid swarms than the 7-8 citizens completely unarmed and unable to do anything but be considered noobs for not having the flags beforehand. God that was annoying.
Perhaps the /mi flag is what everyone has at first, as a starter class for missions? It would certainly cut down on citizens who are unable to RP or even do anything when it comes to the missions/mapchanges because the admins are too busy/lazy to do anything about it.
