what the FUCK. Does Windows 7 not support addons?! seriously i spent hours tryin to find out how to get my addons to work and they never did. When i download them, WinRAR doesnt open like it should, and when I manually extract them to my C:program files (86x)\Steam\Steamapps\username\garrysmod\garrysmod\addons folder, it doesnt work. i've also tried cutting and passting them in and that doesnt work either! Any suggestions?

I'm using Windows 7 and my addons/everything works perfectly.
Maybe your WinRAR is shit? That's probably the case.
Try using SVN anyway, it's faster and easier.

You're being retarded and doing it wrong. Windows 7 [b]does not[/b] have any major changes in the filesystem which could cause problems with addons. I'm also on Windows 7, as is many other users. I've not had any problems installing the addons I've created, so it may be the author of the addon being a complete and utter idiot and not doing it right.
1) Download said addon
2) Unzip said zip file into an unzipped folder
3) Copy said addon folder with info.txt and drop it into addons
4) You're done!

i got even worst i dont have an addons folder its just not there im in the right folder and i havent deleated it... so yeah
