Ok i have a dilemma whenever a player npc or me get killed i crash it says hl2.exe is not working i have been able to play this game fine nothing has changed i have no addons installed and i really want to play the game help me please

this also happens in multiplayer sometimes this also happens when i am shot not even killed help?
Try deleting addons, delete your pr0n, ect. Make sure there are no viruses or spyware.
You need a new video card.
This happened to me on my laptop. Before the engine update particles just showed as Wireframe squares, But with the new engine update they are more complex i think, And you crash with an error.
There is an solution however, Although this needs sv_cheats 1.
Type r_drawparticles 0 in the console.
There is an low quality mod for TF2, That disables almost all particles, Im working on making the same for gmod. That way, You dont need sv_cheats 1.

Thank you bro pm me the mod link when its done but this is working for me now thanks a lot now i can play some gmod with my friends lol thanks this is the best support i have gotten in a long time
